To the Earth is a tribe of dancers and musicians based in Richmond,
Virginia - we are Richmond's only tribal bellydance collective. We view bellydance as a collaborative art form and
celebration of diversity. Our performance style is grounded in American
Tribal Style bellydance and shaped by the many creative influences
of our members.
studio x summer class session We're teaching an introductory tribal bellydance class focused on technique, control and FUN at Studio X.
This Saturday morning class starts July 12. Click to sign up! Do it fast! Studio X classes tend to fill up.
spring class Our next session of continuing classes (drop-ins welcome from past students) starts May 14 and

June 6 - Back at Art 6 during First Friday. We'll be outside dancing and drumming. Let us know if you're interested in playing or dancing with us!
June 7 - Katayoun's technique workshop sponsored by Women of Selket. Workshop 12-4, show 7pm (details on their site).
June 9 - Hafla/jam session for all interested dancers & musicians at Art 6; 7pm, $3 cover.
June 28 - Journey Down the Silk Road in Charlottesville - a day in the Middle East, medieval-style.
